Another COVID-19 outbreak has been declared at Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops.
The outbreak is on Unit 5 S at Royal Inland Hospital, according to a Ministry of Health news release issued today, Nov. 2.
There were 406 new cases of COVID recorded in B.C. in the last 24 hours, including 95 in the Interior Health region, the ministry said.
There were133 new cases in Fraser Health, 86 in Northern Health, 51 on Vancouver Island and 41 in Vancouver Coastal.

There were five more deaths, including one in the Interior Health region, bringing the death toll from the pandemic to 2,186.
There are 4,694 active cases in B.C. with 445 people in hospital, 137 of whom are in intensive care.
The vaccination rate for those over 12 receiving at least one dose remains at 90% for the second day. There are 85.4% of B.C. residents who have two doses.
