Interior Health is relocating its COVID-19 testing site to 2180 Ethel St. in Kelowna effective today, Nov. 4.

The move will increase the capacity for testing but an Interior Health news release does not say by how much.

Testing is currently done at the Urgent and Primary Care Centre at the Capri Centre mall. This will free up that centre to focus on its core services, Interior Health said.

Online booking for COVID-19 tests is available at most testing centres by going to Interior Health's website here and clicking the booking button.

Anyone who has symptoms or has been referred for testing by a physician, nurse practitioner of by public health can book a test.

Interior Health also has a Pandemic Support Line at 1-877-740-7747 that’s open seven days a week, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., to help people make an appointment.

COVID-19 symptoms include fever, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing loss of sense of taste or smell. Other milder symptoms may include: runny nose, fatigue, body aches (muscles and joints aching), diarrhea, headache, sore throat, vomiting and red eyes.
