The lineup for the 10th annual Midsummer Music Jam concert in Kamloops later this month has been announced.

Award-winning West Coast country artist Lisa Brokop will headline the concert and dance in Riverside Park, according to a BC Lottery Corporation media release.

Over her more than 30-year career, Brokop has recorded nine albums, charted more than 30 top-20 radio singles and has won two Canadian Country Music Awards for her hits Something Undeniable and I'd Like to See You Try.

Alberta-born roots and country rock artist Blake Havard will open for Brokop. He's been writing, producing and recording music in Vancouver since the 1990s.

A food truck and a beverage garden will open at 5 p.m. to start the night on Wednesday, July 24. All proceeds from the beverage garden will go toward local sports organizations in the community. A non-perishable food donation collection will be also on site held by the Kamloops Food Bank.
