A collision on Highway 97 just south of Penticton is slowing traffic this afternoon.

PENTICTON - A collision on Highway 97 that slowed traffic south of Penticton earlier this afternoon has been cleared up and traffic is moving freely in both directions.
Wright's Beach Camp employee Wade Kruger said the vehicles involved have been towed and all lanes of traffic are back to normal as of 1:50 p.m.
The collision occurred around 12:50 p.m. today, July 12, in front of Wright’s Beach Resort south of the Channel Parkway on Highway 97.
The collision tied up the southbound passing lane at that point. Traffic was moving in both directions, but motorists needed to use caution around the scene.
Injuries and cause of collision are unknown at this time.
Police and fire services attended the scene.
