KAMLOOPS – The weather in Kamloops this long weekend will be chillier than what we've experienced so far this February, but it should be sunny on Family Day.

Environment Canada says it will be cloudy today, Feb. 9, with the sun peaking out late in the day. We're looking for a high of -4 Celsius today with the mercury dropping to -11 C overnight.

Saturday should be mostly sunny, with a high of -4 C and a low -8 C. There is a chance of snow on Sunday, with a high of around 0 C and a low of -11 C.

Family Day on Monday is predicted to be sunny and clear, with a high of -3 C and an overnight low of -11 C.

Clouds return Tuesday with a 30 per cent chance of snow.
