Clouds, showers followed by sunshine in Kamloops this week

KAMLOOPS - Showers will start off the week in Kamloops.

Today, May 15, there’s going to be increasing cloudiness into this afternoon, according to Environment Canada. There’s a 40 per cent chance of showers this afternoon with a daytime high of 14 Celsius. This evening showers will arrive, with 5 mm to 10 mm falling overnight. The night time low will be 7 C.

The showers will stick around for tomorrow, with another 5 mm to 10 mm of precipitation. It will stay cool as well, with a high of 13 C and wind up to 20 km/h. Things will begin to improve in the evening, with only a 60 per cent chance of showers, clouds and low of 6 C.

Wednesday should be brighter, as a mix of sun and cloud is forecast with a high of 20 C. Overnight there will be cloudy periods and a low of 7 C.

Thursday will be very similar with a mix of sun and cloud, clearing up later in the day, and highs around 21 C during the day. Overnight it should be clear with a low of 7 C.

Friday it’s looking a little warmer, with a high of 25 C and mix of sun and cloud again. The overnight low should be around 11 C with cloudy periods.

The weekend is currently forecast to be fairly sunny with highs in the mid-20s.

Things remain on the cool side, as normally Kamloops is experiencing highs around 22 C and lows at 8 C this time of year.
