Clouds rolling into the Okanagan this week

Ogopogo basks in the sunshine and warm weather along the Kelowna waterfront.

KELOWNA - Today will be the sunniest day of the week in the Okanagan.

The forecast calls for sunshine today, April 3, with a high of 12 Celsius in the Okanagan, according to Environment Canada. It will be partly cloudy overnight with a low of -2 C.

Expect a mix of sun and cloud tomorrow with a high of 13 C, though it will feel cooler as wind will be gusting up to 50 km/h in some areas. The temperature will fall to 4 C overnight with cloudy.

Wednesday we’ll see the clouds take over with a high of 13 C during the day. In the evening, the temperature will drop to 5 C with a 30 per cent of showers across the region.

More of the same on Thursday with clouds and a high of 13 C during the day and low of 5 C at night with 30 per cent of showers.

On Friday, the clouds will still be sticking around, along with a 60 per cent chance of showers and a high of 12 C. The forcast calls for clouds and showers overnight with a low of 6 C.

It looks like we'll get more of the same kind of weather on the weekend with clouds, showers and highs in the mid-teens.

Seasonally normal termperatures in the Okanagan are highs of 13 C and lows of 2 C.
