Cirque du Soleil bringing circus acts on ice to Kelowna with 'Crystal'

Cirque du Soleil's one-of-a-kind production Crystal, which features a combination of skating and aerial tricks, is coming to Kelowna in the spring.

Cirque du Soleil Crystal will be in Kelowna for six shows at Prospera Place in May and audiences will have the chance to see seven traditional circus acts adapted to be performed on ice, according to a media release.

"With seven jaw-dropping traditional circus acts all thrillingly adapted for Cirque du Soleil’s first foray into a brand new creative territory – the ice – Crystal takes audiences on an unforgettable journey into the vivid and whimsical world of imagination," reads the release.

"Crystal pushes the boundaries of possibility within the circus arts. The show highlights Cirque du Soleil’s creativity in a new way and encourages audiences to find the magic of the everyday."

Over two million people have seen the Crystal show fusion of aerobics and skating, in over 145 cities across the world.

The show will be in town from May 22 to 25, 2025 and tickets go on sale Friday, Dec. 9 at 10 a.m. online here.
