Chance of snow in the Okanagan on Halloween

KELOWNA - It promises to be a mixed bag of weather in the Okanagan this week with clouds, sunshine and rain, and maybe even some snow.

Environment Canada says there is a 60 per cent chance of showers this morning, Oct. 29, in the Okanagan followed by southwest winds and mainly cloudy skies this afternoon, along with a high of 10 Celsius.

Tomorrow will see a mix of sun and cloud, with increasing cloudiness in the afternoon and a high of 9 C.

For Halloween on Wednesday, the valley could see periods of rain or snow, as the daytime high tops out at 7 C.

On Thursday, expect mainly cloudy skies and a high of 10 C, followed by a 30 per cent chance of showers returning on Friday with a high of 9 C.

Saturday and Sunday are expected to be cloudy with a high of 9 C on both days.

Temperatures are not expected to dip below freezing this week in the Okanagan.

Normal high and low temperatures in the Okanagan in late October are 7 C and 0 C.
