Four of Canada’s 100 Debates on the Environment will be held in Kamloops, along with ridings in the Central and South Okanagan this week.

The debate series is an initiative of GreenPAC in partnership with local organizations and individuals.

GreenPAC is a non-profit organization created before the 2015 federal election. It sponsors debates in provincial and federal elections and endorses candidates.

Three of the four events are at 7 p.m. tomorrow, Sept. 8 via Zoom.

The exception is for the South Okanagan-West Kootenay riding. It will be live at the Penticton Lakeside Resort today. A public round table discussion will be held at the resort from 6:15 to 6:45 p.m. tonight followed by the forum at 7 p.m. where each candidate will be asked four questions.

It’s co-sponsored by Fridays For Future, West Kootenay and Citizens' Climate Lobby, Nelson - West Kootenay. There is no information on the GreenPac website about whether registration is required.
