Canadian music icons to Rock the Lake this summer in Kelowna

KELOWNA – Randy Bachman tops the lineup of Canadian acts set to play at the third annual Rock the Lake music festival in Kelowna this summer.

Bachman will be joined in the parking lot of Prospera Place in downtown Kelowna for the August event by fellow Canadian music icons the Little River Band, Men Without Hats, The Sweet, Glass Tiger, the Northern Pikes, Doug and the Slugs, The Stampeders, Barney Bentall and The Legendary Hearts, Ian Thomas and Nazareth.

Last year, the festival featured headliners like April Wine, Kim Mitchell, Honeymoon Suite, Platinum Blonde and Sass Jordan.

Weekend and VIP passes for the music festival on Aug. 10, Aug. 11 and Aug. 12 go on sale at 10 a.m. tomorrow, Dec. 8, at www.selectyourtickets.com, according to a media release.

Single day tickets and the full schedule will be available at a later date.
