Canadian country musician Dallas Smith has added three B.C. dates to his 2022 Some Things Never Change tour.
Smith will be playing in Kamloops, Penticton and Abbotsford from June 2 to June 4, with James Barker Band, special guests Megan Patrick, Shawn Austin, JoJo Mason, Kelly Prescott and Manny Blu.
“A multiple JUNO and CCMA Award-winning entertainer, Dallas Smith is one of the most celebrated artists in Canadian Country music,” a media release said. “Smith is also the first and only Canadian Country artist in the Nielsen BDS era to have 11 #1 singles, including four consecutive chart-toppers from the same album, and closed out 2019 as the most played artist domestic and international at Canadian Country radio for the year.”
The CCMA Award Winner for Entertainer of the Year made his return to the radio charts with the new single Hide from a Broken Heart.
“Smith is the three-time CCMA Award winner for Entertainer of the Year, continuing to set the bar high for country music in all that he does,” the release said.
Adding, Smith has more than 500 million collective streams to date and two million global album equivalents.

In 2021, Smith launched the not-for-profit organization, Lifted Dallas Smith Charitable Foundation, to ensure mental health services are accessible to everyone in need.
There will be a $2.50 charge added to the cost of tickets which will be allocated to Canadian mental health charities and services, on behalf of the Lifted Dallas Smith Charitable Foundation.
Tickets for the Penticton show can be purchased in-person at the Valley First Box Office, or online here starting on Dec. 17 at 12 p.m.
No word on when the tickets for the concert at the Sandman Centre in Kamloops will go on sale, but when they do, they can be purchased here.
