Calgary motorcyclist killed in North Okanagan crash

A crash between a motorcycle and a pickup truck on Highway 97A in Enderby on Friday claimed the life of the Calgary man riding the bike.

RCMP say the collision happened at around 1:30 a.m. Friday, July 2, in the 5300 block of Highway 97A in Enderby.

A southbound motorcycle hit a pickup truck as it entered the highway, according to an RCMP media release.

The 58-year-old motorcyclist from Calgary was declared deceased at the scene. His identity has not been released.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
