Bryan Adams Ultimate Tour includes stop in Kelowna

Canadian singer Bryan Adams will perform in Kelowna in June as part of a cross-country arena tour.

KELOWNA – Home grown Canadian rocker Bryan Adams’ Ultimate Tour will make a stop in the Okanagan in a few months.

In support of his recently released 14th album, the Ultimate Tour kicks off in Victoria June 5 before working its way across the country, finishing in Toronto Aug. 3.

On Sunday, June 10 he will perform at Prospera Place in Kelowna starting at 7 p.m. Tickets go on sale Friday, March 2 at 10 a.m. and are available through this website, by phoning 250-762-5050 or at Prospera Place Box Office.

A promotional media release calls Adams “one of the most exciting live musicians in the world."

"His energetic performance, effortless stage presence and incredible vocals are guaranteed to thrill and entertain,” it says.

The Canadian hit-maker's set will include new music as well as favourites like “(Everything I Do) I Do It For You”, “Can’t Stop This Thing We’ve Started”, “Summer of ‘69”, “Heaven” and more. 

The Ultimate Tour will also make stops in Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Ottawa and nine other Canadian cities.

Adams has been touring the world for nearly four decades and his music has achieved #1 status in over 40 countries, according to the release. He is a Companion of the Order of Canada, has been inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame and Canada’s Walk of Fame and the recipient of numerous Juno Awards, three Academy Award and five Golden Globe nominations, a Grammy Award, American Music Awards and ASCAP Film and Television Music Awards.
