KAMLOOPS - Last night a brush fire started in Kamloops.
Yesterday, May 19, at approximately 9 p.m., Kamloops RCMP received word of a brush fire in the 3000 block of Shuswap Drive according to a media release.
B.C. Wildfire Crews attended and quickly brought the fire under control. Crews remained onsite overnight to monitor the blaze.
Residents of the Country View Estates mobile home park were evacuated as a precaution until the fire was under control. The residence have since returned.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
