KAMLOOPS - The Kamloops Blazers will be hosting the Calgary Hitmen on Friday, Oct. 23 for the annual Safeway Breast Cancer Night.
The Blazers will be wearing pink laces and the first 2,500 people in the doors will receive a free Kamloops Blazers pink tote bag.
Fans are encouraged to dress up in pink on the night and there will be a second period intermission puck toss with proceeds going to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.
The doors will be open at 4:45 p.m. Game 6 of the American League Championship Series between the Toronto Blue Jays and Kansas City Royals will be shown on the scoreboard video screen and the concourse televisions.
Fans will be able to purchase tickets for only $14 prior to 6 p.m. tomorrow and hot dogs will be on sale for only $2 at the concessions from 4:45 p.m. until 6 p.m.
The Blazers Box Office will be open at 9 a.m. Friday until the first period of the game.
