A Big Bike crew was hooting and hollering on Tuesday after completing a soggy trip along Penticton's Lakeshore Drive.
The Investors Group Survivorship team was at the helm that afternoon filling 23 of the 29 available seats. A few riders said their ponchos might have kept them dry but it also kept them too warm.
The Big Bike event is taking place across the country, organized by the Heart and Stroke Foundation event to raise money for cardiovascular illness research.
The final amounts from each province have yet to be tallied at www.BigBike.ca, but so far Ontario is leading the way with $830,489 reported. B.C. is in second with $343,657.
