A B.C. nurse has been suspended for three months for unwanted sexual touching.

According to a March 1 B.C. College of Nurses and Midwives decision, the incident took place in January 2022.

The decision is scant on detail but says registered nurse Nwachukwu Enuma's conduct with two colleagues was "inappropriate" and included making comments with "sexual content and unwanted touching."

Enuma was working in Williams Lake at the time of the misconduct.

The nursing regulator says there were no concerns about patient communication or care raised.

Enuma signed a consent agreement admitting to the conduct.

Along with a three-month suspension, the nurse will also have to take courses in ethics and harassment in the workplace.

The nursing regulator says it is satisfied that the terms will protect the public.
