KELOWNA – The leader of the B.C. NDP will be in the Okanagan tomorrow for a couple pre-election campaign stops.

The provincial election campaign will officially get underway when the write is dropped on April 11.

John Horgan arrives in Kelowna tonight, April 5, and will sit down with seniors at a campaign event at a coffee shop at 1889 Springfield Rd. tomorrow at 8:30 a.m., according to a media release.

He will be joined by Kelowna West candidate Shelley Cook, Erik Olesen who is running in Kelowna-Lake Country and Harwinder Sandhu, the NDP's candidate in the Kelowna-Mission riding.

The Horgan then takes the campaign bus to Osoyoos where he'll be holding an event at the Sonora Community Centre at 8505 68th Ave. He'll be joined by teachers from the region and Boundary-Similkameen candidate Colleen Ross.

The provincial election is on May 9.
