Arrest warrant issued for Kelowna fraudster posing as a psychologist

After a complicated investigation, Kelowna RCMP are on the hunt for a medical fraudster.

Xander Phoenix, 52, has been charged with one count of causing a person to use forged document, and one count of forgery, according to an RCMP media release issued today, Feb. 27.

The charges are related to a case where Phoenix allegedly provided specific medical assessments to clients in Kelowna without credentials as a psychologist in B.C.

Phoenix has brown hair and hazel eyes. He is 5’6” and weighs 135 lb.

Phoenix is originally from New Westminster and Kelowna RCMP have asked him to contact police to rectify these warrants.

Anyone with information has been asked to call Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300 and reference police file number 2022-28090.
