VERNON – A masked man with a gun held up the clerk at a Vernon gas station last night.

RCMP say a man wearing a black mask walked into the Shell gas station on Okanagan Landing Road at around 8:30 p.m. yesterday, Nov. 29, and produced a gun.

The suspect demanded money from the employee and took off on foot, according to an RCMP media release. Police do not say if any money was taken.

The clerk wasn’t injured during the armed robbery.

“Efforts to locate the suspect have been unsuccessful at this time,” Const. Kelly Brett says in the release.

Police are looking for a Caucasian man between 30 and 40 years old. He was wearing all black clothing and a black mask on his face.
