An antique gas pump was stolen from a rural property in the North Okanagan and RCMP are hoping to return it to its rightful owner.

An antique gas pump was stolen from a rural property in the North Okanagan and RCMP are hoping to return it to its rightful owner.
The theft happened on Powerhouse Road in Spallumcheen, north of Vernon, overnight Friday, Nov. 18, according to a Vernon North Okanagan RCMP media release issued today. Nov. 23.
The antique gas pump has an Esso logo on it and is faded green and grey in colour.
The estimated value is $1,000.
“The item is unique and has sentimental value to the family,” RCMP spokesperson Const. Chris Terleski said in the release. “We’re hoping that someone will come forward with information that will assist us in getting it back to the rightful owner.”
Anyone with information about this theft or the location of the item is asked to contact the Armstrong office of the Vernon North Okanagan RCMP at 250-546-3028.
