A new ride-sharing and delivery service has been given the green light from the City of Kelowna and will be starting up next month.
As of July 1, Kelowna residents can open their Lucky to Go app to book rides, get food delivered or earn extra income as a driver, according to a Lucky To Go news release. The company also plans to expand across the Okanagan later this year.

The Victoria-based company is fully licensed by the Passenger Transportation Board. It offers a one-app solution for ride sharing and home delivery to communities throughout B.C.
Another ride-sharing company, KABU Ride, plans to launch in Kelowna in August. The company also recently received approval to operate in Kamloops starting July 1.
