$500,000 winning lotto ticket sold in Kelowna

KELOWNA - Someone is $500,000 richers after buying a winning Lotto 6/49 ticket in Kelowna

The winning ticket was drawn on Saturday, July 23, 2016 and had four out of four numbers matching for the extra prize.

The odds of winning four of four numbers on the extra is one in 3,764,376. 

The winner joins a rather large gang of recent lotto winners from the Thompson-Okanagan including a Vernon man who won $5 million, a Kelowna grandmother who won $5 million and a Kamloops couple won $500,000 on a ticket bought in Kelowna.
