14th Annual Children's Art Festival

KAMLOOPS – Got a tot who likes music or a budding young artist?  Bring your family down to Riverside Park for the 14th Annual Kamloops Arts Council's Children's Art Festival for a fun-filled, creative day of artistic, musical and theatrical activities for children ages 2 and up.

Saturday, September 14th, 2013
11:00 am to 4:00 pm
Riverside Park - by the bandshell

The entire day is free for children and their families. This year's workshops include lantern-making, henna art, clayworks, theatre games, rock school, jewellery-making, drumming, hula hooping, magic fairy ballet and much more!

Live stage performers feature Uncle Chris the Clown, Bishop Dance, WCT Stage One (Hansel & Gretel), and Master Viani's Tiger Martial Arts.

The Children’s Art Festival is produced annually by the Kamloops Arts Council, with support from the founding sponsor the City of Kamloops. Additional supporters include Teck Resources, the BC Arts Council, Make Children First, Echo Newspapers, Lee’s Music, Kamloops Daily News, Bums Away, Tumbleweed Toys, 4Cats Arts Studio, Aquaterra, Electrictree Yarns, NORAN Printing, PCT Kamloops, the Salvation Army, Shaw, Tim Hortons, Western Canada Theatre and Your Dollar Store with More.

Donations of non-perishable food will be accepted for the Salvation Army onsite.
