  • Countdown to Craft in Penticton at the Okanagan Fest of Ale

    PENTICTON - The 22nd Annual Okanagan Fest of Ale, one of the biggest and best know craft beer and cider tasting events in the Pacific Northwest, takes place next week at the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre Friday April 7th and Saturday, April 8th .  Tickets are still available, but are selling quickly.
  • New app makes dog license renewal in Central Okanagan quick and easy

    It’s easier for dog owners in the Central Okanagan to save when they purchase or renew their dog license for 2017. And renewing can be quicker than ever.

    That’s thanks to the ‘My Dog Matters’ App created for the Regional District of Central Okanagan. The App is believed to be the first developed for local governments in Canada and brings the opportunity to renew a dog license right to an owner’s mobile device.

  • Kelowna Mounties aiming to cram more cruisers this year

    KELOWNA - Kelowna and Lake Country RCMP are once again gearing up for the 4th Annual RCMP Cram the Cruiser fundraising event set to take place on Saturday, Dec. 5, 2015. The event will be held in the parking lot of the Cooper's Foods in Lake Country, and will run between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
