ENDERBY – The first time Ty Stephens had ever been to the Starlight Drive-In Theatre was last year at a car show he organized. Now it’s one of his favourite places.

“It’s such a cool atmosphere,” he says. “It’s perfect for a car show.”

The Third Wheel Car Show is a two hour gathering of car lovers tonight, May 18, followed by two new movies at one of B.C.’s last drive in movie theatres.

The previous two car shows Stephens organized at the Starlight brought around 150 vehicles, and this year he hopes for even more.

“We have no idea who’s going to show up,” he says. “We’re all over the place. Trucks, cars, euro imports, Japanese, classic, muscle cars. Everyone is welcome.”

Gates open at 7 p.m., the car show runs until a raffle at 9:15 followed by the screening of The Fate and Furious. Get Out will be shown after a brief intermission. Admission is $20 per vehicle.

“As many as your vehicle can legally fit,” Stephens says. “Bring your cars, your friends, family, even your dogs and check out some cool cars," Stephens says.

New and old cars, trucks and other vehicles will be parked at the Starlight Drive In for the Third Wheel Car Show tonight, May 18, 2017.
