Workplace fatality at Penticton car dealership

PENTICTON - A worker has died at a Penticton car dealership.

Penticton Fire Department Deputy Chief Chris Forster says firefighters were called to Skaha Ford this morning, April 28, to a report of a cardiac arrest.

Forster says firefighters attended with B.C. Ambulance paramedics to the dealership parking lot. A worker had become trapped between two cars and his coworkers had freed him by the time emergency crews arrived.

Forster says CPR was performed on the man, who was transported to hospital.

Larry Martinzik with the B.C. Coroners Service Larry Martinzik confirmed this afternoon his office is investigating a workplace death that occurred at Skaha Ford in Penticton today.
