SALMON ARM - The man behind the wheel of a vehicle which took out a power pole in Salmon Arm on Saturday wasn’t hurt, but he did get a ticket.
RCMP say a 62-year-old man hit the pole on 20 Avenue NE in Salmon Arm on April 9, shearing off the pole and leaving wires hanging.
He was wearing a seat belt and wasn’t hurt, according to a RCMP media release.
Staff Sgt. Scott West says the driver was given a ticket 'for a driving infraction which led to the crash.'
