CHICAGO - Penticton native and NHL star Duncan Keith made a dream come true for a little girl who can’t walk or talk and who wanted to score a goal with the two-time Olympian.
The Blackhawks defenseman made it happen as a part of the team’s social media campaign called What’s Your Goal.
“Cammy was born unable to walk or speak,” Keith says in the video. “Her goal was to score a goal with the help of her favorite player, me.”
So the former Kelowna Rocket put her on skates for the first time in her life and took her out onto the ice to score her goal.
Be warned, you’ll need a box of tissues to watch this video.
