KELOWNA - Any booklover in Kelowna would know the first location in band PRTY H3RO’s latest music video is Ted’s Paperbacks on Sutherland Avenue. As for the man walking through the used bookstore, those who recognize him might remember his face from somewhere a little more posh.

Justin Sterling is a model and can be found in the glossy editorials of style magazines or on European runways while Ted’s is a Kelowna fixture. Both are featured in the “Young and Shameless” music video. Cast as a love interest for PRTY H3R0’s lead singer, Sterling and Natasha Zimbaro’s play a flirty hide and seek between the stacks at Ted’s before going on dates to a carnival and a pool party with the rest of the band.

Sterling spent his teen years living in Kelowna, but today, the 20-year-old currently resides in Vancouver. He regularly makes trips home to visit his friends and mother Kim Foreman.

"He's got a lot of friends from before when he lived here who he wants to see when he comes to town," she says “He’s much more than just a pretty face.”

Foreman says while modelling may be Sterling's main gig he's also a visual artist and records music. He wrote a song for his brother who died last May.

Shortly after the video was filmed, Sterling was offered a modelling gig in Berlin.

Joe Fresh has also demonstrated interest. After meeting with Fresh himself, Sterling was slotted to model for the clothier in Toronto.
