VERNON - Mounties continue to investigate a bank robbery that happened at the Interior Savings Credit Union December 9 but so far haven't been able to make an arrest.
According to an RCMP media release, there have been several leads from the public about the 25- to 35-year-old suspect and they're again asking the public to take a look at photos in hopes it will jog someone's memory. The bank is located at 4301-32 Street in Vernon.
The suspect was wearing black sunglasses, had a three-day growth of beard and is roughly 5'10" to 6' tall. He was wearing a grey, long sleeve shirt with an orange-grey-white plaid shirt underneath, grey sweatpants, brown shoes, dark toque and black leather gloves.
Police say he was carrying a gun and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
