VERNON - RCMP are on the lookout for a woman who last spoke with her family several weeks ago.

Celina White, 26, was last in contact with her family several weeks before they reported her missing Sept. 30, according to Vernon RCMP.

White is described as Caucasian, 5’3” tall and weighing 100 lbs with long dark brown hair and blue eyes. She is known to live a high-risk, transient lifestyle and typically resides in the North Okanagan area.

Const. Jocelyn Noseworthy of the Vernon RCMP says police first checked with people who knew her before issuing the missing persons report and notes White was last seen hitchhiking in the Lake Country area.

“They are just concerned, normally she touches base every once in a while with them,” Noseworthy says of White’s family. “Anyone who knows where Celina might be, or if Celina sees this, we’re asking her to just let someone know she’s alright”

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of White is asked to contact the Vernon RCMP detachment at 250-545-7171 or remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
