VERNON – The thick fog in the Okanagan Valley Tuesday provided the perfect opportunity for a local photographer to get some beautiful shots.
Eric Draht headed up Turtle Mountain Tuesday night and took pictures of the effect the fog was having on the lights from the City of Vernon.
He also took some photos down Old Kamloops Road.
Draht says to the naked eye the scene looked black and white.
“The human eye switches to black and white vision in darkness due to better contrasts,” he says on his Facebook page. “It’s not actually black and white at night, so the camera captures the colours the eye can’t see.”
You can order prints at the Draht Photography website.
