VERNON - A downtown motel familiar to most Vernon residents is up for sale.
The Green Valley Motel on Highway 97 across from Polson Park is on the market for $1,195,000.
Built in 1965, the motel features 27 units currently rented out by the month. A description of the listing suggests it has lots of potential: “The C5 commercial zoning allows for the property to be used to for the development of community commercial centres including government agencies, financial services, hotels and motels, and many more.”
The property is listed by The Vassberg Team.
“Those who stay at the motel can take advantage of the beautiful park across the street, a creek running behind the property and access to downtown Vernon within walking distance,” reads the description on the real estate agency's website.
