Vernon man identified following truck crash

VERNON - The man who died after his truck hit a light standard in Vernon last week has been identified.

Erik Allen Ryall, 24, of Vernon, was the driver and sole occupant in a 1999 Ford F-150 that went off the road, striking a barricade and pole around 10:30 p.m., Jan. 20.

The crash happened near the intersection of Highway 97 and 48th Avenue in Vernon. Ryall was deceased at the scene, according to the B.C. Coroners Service.

The coroners service and RCMP continue to investigate.
