A vehicle rammed into a building in Lake Country this afternoon after the driver went into medical distress.

Emergency crews were on the scene of the crash which occurred around 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 5.

Lake Country fire chief Steve Windsor said the driver had a medical issue and drove into the Health First Chiropractic and Massage building on the corner of Robinson Road and Highway 97.

“It’s done quite a bit of damage to the building and the fire department has called the restoration company to come and board up places where it hit,” he said.

No other injuries were reported.
