Two taken to hospital after SUV drives through Sahali restaurant window

KAMLOOPS - Two people suffered minor injuries today when a vehicle drove into the front window of the Tiger Ramen restaurant in Sahali.

Two diners were taken to Royal Inland Hospital from the restaurant in Sahali's Columbia Place Shopping Centre, Cpl. Cheryl Bush says, adding drugs and alcohol were not involved in the crash.

The female driver did not sustain any injuries. 

Staff members at the restaurant say the incident occurred around 12:30 p.m. today, April 6. The Dodge SUV sustained damage to the front end of the vehicle but was still in operating condition.
