CHASE – Two arcade games are missing from a Scotch Creek store and police are looking for the person who's responsible.

On Wednesday Dec. 14, police received a report of theft from the Shuswap Lake Park store in Scotch Creek, Sgt. Gary Heebner says.

The owner of two pinball machines, reported a 'Ms. PacMan' game and a 'kiddie ride' game as stolen.

Heebner says the new store owner also reported some equipment or stock as missing and told police a tenant in the basement was recently evicted.

"The business was sold to a new owner. There was a tenant living in the basement at the time of the sale. The arcade games belonged to a third party and were stored in the building. Now the tenant is gone, and so are the games and some equipment," Heebner says.

Police are interested in talking to the former tenant. Anyone with knowledge of his whereabouts are asked to call Chase RCMP at 250-679-3221 or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
