The week in pictures

Bright rainbows could be seen over the city Sunday.

KAMLOOPS - We started the week with rains and winds that brought gorgeous double rainbows to the skies above the city and though the cooler weather dominated the end of the month the heat wave earlier in September brought the monthly averages to above normal.

We also looked at the fall colours dominating the farmer's market, local fields and fall displays around the city. We explored the colours and textures of the many squash available at Thistle Farm and enjoyed the fetching fall display at city hall.

Concern over the number of vacancies at Aberdeen Mall also caught our attention. We found a number of open spots at the mall as well as stores preparing to close.
