Test your bike smarts at the 8th Annual Bike Rodeo

KAMLOOPS – The City of Kamloops presents the 8th Annual Bike Rodeo. 

Kids of all ages are invited to come out to this free event. Bring your bike and helmet and put your bike smarts to the test! Find out how you can have fun and stay safe while riding your bike. The RCMP bike patrol and auxiliaries will be on hand to take kids through a pre-ride check, as well as review the rules of the road, proper hand signals, and more. Helmet safety tips, including assistance with proper fitting will also be offered. There will be face-painting and prizes for everyone.

Remember Safety First when riding your bike. Always wear a helmet and always wear brightly colored or reflective clothing so that motorists can see you. Walk your bike across all crosswalks. Use recognized hand signals to show motorists and other cyclists that you want to stop or turn.
