KELOWNA – Four of the Okanagan’s best wineries are going to the dogs for one day next month.

St. Hubertus Estate Winery, Cedar Creek Estate Winery, Summerhill Pyramid Winery and Tantalus Vineyards have teamed up with the B.C. SPCA to present Unleashed!, a wine tour for both humans and their canine companions.

"This is our second season hosting the unleashed party and we consider ourselves very fortunate to be able to contribute to the initiatives that the B.C. SPCA supports," Summerhill Pyramid Winery CEO Ezra Cipes says in a media release. "With the help of St. Hubertus, Cedar Creek and Tantalus, and the fun activities we have in store, we anticipate an even bigger attendance this year".

The four wineries will be offering canape-paired wine tastings at each location along the scenic Lakeshore Wine Route for the humans, as well as treats their dogs.

For a suggested donation of $20, attendees can join the unique tour from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 30 where there will be dog portraits and dog walks through the vineyards.

Get your “pawsport” stamped at each location for a chance to win a grand prize draw.
