Sunshine and heat for Kamloops this week

The hot weather continues this week in Kamloops.

KAMLOOPS - It's going to be sunny and hot all week in Kamloops.

Locals can breathe a little easier today because the smoky skies air quality statement was rescinded for Kamloops today. It's still in effect for the North Thompson.

Today, July 24, will be 29 Celsius and mainly sunny, according to Environment Canada. The overnight low will drop to 14 C with a few clouds. 

The forecast calls for sunshine and a high of 33 tomorrow, with an overnight low of 15 C under a clear sky.

It'll be sunny on Wednesday with a high of 35 C and a low of 16 C.

More sunshine on Thursday a forecast high of 34 C and the overnight low down to 16 C.

We can expect more of the same on Friday with a high of 33 C and a low of 16 C overnight.

Normal temperatures for this time of year in Kamloops are highs of 29 C and lows of 14 C.
