SUN PEAKS - The people at Sun Peaks Resort are trying to get a lost camera memory card back into the hands of its owner.

Sam Loxton with Sun Peaks says the memory card with a couple's vacation photos on it was found on the mountain Friday, April 8.

Loxton says a staff member found the card on the slopes in the snow, but because there weren't any pictures of Sun Peaks on it he figures they lost it just after they arrived.

He doesn't think the card was lost too long ago since it was still usable and not corroded.

Some of the pictures are from the Capilano Suspension Bridge in North Vancouver, while others are from a trip to Europe.

Loxton says most of the photos are of a woman, but a man is in some as well.

Since the memory card doesn’t have any contact information on it, resort staff decided to post a photo online to see if anyone recognizes the woman. So far no one has claimed it.

"We chucked it up since it would be nice to get it back to them," he says.

Loxton says the owners of the memory card can contact Tourism Sun Peaks at 1-800-807-3257.
