KAMLOOPS - Environment Canada has ended a wind warning for the South and North Thompson, and Shuswap today.
Forecasters called for strong westerly winds of 70 km/h and gusting to 90 km/h to develop today, Oct. 17, as an intense fall storm moved across the Interior.
The wind warning said there was also a potential for a squall line to develop with intense thunderstorms producing lightning and heavy rain which could be mixed with small hail.
Wind damage was reported in Kamloops and the Shuswap.
