Okanagan Falls and its award-winning wine industry are about to become more famous thanks to a popular Canadian TV show.

The CBC series Still Standing will showcase the South Okanagan town tonight, Feb. 22.

Still Standing follows Canadian comedian Jonny Harris as he goes across the country finding the hilarity and beauty of the country’s small towns.

The OK Falls episode shows how after decades of decline in its traditional orchard and cattle ranch industries the town is boosting its economy with an award-winning wine industry.

“This place is wild,” the actor and comedian said in the episode. “I’ve never seen a place anywhere in the country quite like this. The rock formations, the landscape. The vineyards, the lake. You might be thinking, what on earth does OK Falls not have? Well, for one, falls.”
