KELOWNA - Local residents were surprised to see a squadron of Snowbirds fly over the Central Okanagan yesterday afternoon.

Nine CT-114 Tutor's were spotted in the skies above Kelowna yesterday, April 6.

Airport spokesperson Jasmine Patrick says the Canadian Forces 431 Air Demonstration Squadron was only passing through.

"It wasn't an official stop," she says. "It was just a gas and go."
