KAMLOOPS - One driver is in hospital and officers were searching for the driver of another vehicle that left the scene of the collision in Sahali late this afternoon.
The collision occurred near Summit Drive and Waddington Drive in Upper Sahali today, Jan. 5. RCMP spokesperson Sgt. Darren Michels says a male driver is in hospital and being treated for non-life threatening injuries while officers searched for the truck that fled the scene. The truck was located a short time later not far away.
Traffic is flowing in the area, although slowly. Motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible. It’s expected traffic will be impacted for several hours.
