SALMON ARM - A student from a Salmon Arm high school had to be airlifted to hospital after a shop class injury today.
A student at the Jackson Campus of Salmon Arm Secondary was injured Tuesday afternoon, June 14 in a high school shop class. Emergency services were called and attended the scene before the student was airlifted, according to a press release.
The extent of the students' injuries aren’t known at this time, School District 83 Supt. Glenn Borthistle says in the release.
An investigation is planned to determine the cause of the accident.
