UPDATE: Highway 3 cleared between Hedley and Keremeos

HEDLEY — The road that was closed earlier today due to a rockslide has been reopened Drive B.C. says.

At about 10:42 a.m. Highway 3 was back in business, according to a media release.

A rockslide closed the road connecting Keremos and Hedley last night, March 22, at around 10:27 p.m.

The rockslide had closed Highway 3 between Nickleplate Road and Ashnola Road for 21.9 k.m. About 2 km east of Hedley to 3 km west of Keremeos.

A detour was available via Highway 5A and Highway 3A.
